DAVID VAUTRIN JOINS VASCULAR TECHNOLGIES INC AND ULTROID® TECHNOLOGIES INC AS CEO of ULTROID® CARE CENTERS and CMO of Ultroid Te
ST. PETERSBURG, FLORIDA – September 15, 2008 – Vascular Technologies Inc. announces today that David Vautrin, former Senior Vice President of Cott Corporation, is appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Ultroid Care Centers and Chief Marketing Officer of Ultroid Technologies and Vascular Technologies effective immediately.
Prior to joining Vascular Technologies, Inc. and Ultroid Technologies, Inc., Mr. Vautrin was the Senior Vice President for Cott Corporation (COT), SVP for Indulgent Foods and General Manager for H.P. Hood. Additionally, he owned and operated two successful businesses which he developed and sold.
"We are very pleased to welcome David to the Company and are fortunate to have him lead the charge on the Ultroid® Care Centers, while also focusing on enhancing our companies’ marketing efforts to drive awareness. Mr. Vautrin has had an impactful, highly successful career as an entrepreneur and executive with both private organizations and multi-billion dollar enterprises,” Brent Willis, CEO.
“Ultroid® Care Centers, a subsidiary of Vascular Technologies Inc., are streamline medical wellness centers designed to offer relief to the near 45 million patients suffering from Rectal Varicosities (RV), hemorrhoids, and other varicose vein disorders. RV affects nearly 75% of the people on the planet over age 45 and Ultroid is the only painless and effective treatment of this debilitating disease. The Physician run care centers will more rapidly expand the Ultroid-Solution™ and compliment the forward thinking medical partners joining and already part of the Ultroid®
network.
The Ultroid® Care Clinics offer additional accessibility for treatment at a cost that can be often as little as a co-pay, given the procedure’s attractive reimbursements from Medicare, most leading insurance providers and Worker’s Compensation. “The ultimate objective is Patient wellness and eliminating the 3rd fastest growing disease worldwide. This purpose is what excites me the most” said Vautrin.
“David’s strategic business planning and general management expertise will accelerate the Ultroid® Care Center business while his “Best in Class” marketing and brand building will connect the Ultroid® Brand with our Medical Partners.” commented Michael Cao, Chairman of the Board of Directors. "The Board is confident that David's leadership and experience will significant accelerate Ultroid’s distribution expansion.”
Vascular Technologies, Inc. is the owner of the Ultroid® medical device that has shown over 90% effectiveness in the treatment of hemorrhoids. Unlike current surgical treatments, the Ultroid-Solution™ is a painless outpatient procedure with immediate recovery, and has potential applications for the treatment of other varicose and spider veins.
"I am extremely excited to join Vascular Technologies and the Ultroid® Team. The Ultroid Solution™ is a genuine breakthrough for the treatment of this pervasive global issue. Ultroid® is the most advanced standard of care in Hemorrhoid treatment. This is a global condition that is non-discriminatory, non-gender specific and frankly affects an extremely wide consumer base especially athletes, anyone under strain (child-bearing women, vehicle operators, pilots) and more than 75% of the world’s population aged over 50. Research indicates that it is not “if”, but “when” a patient needs a solution to RV, and early treatment precludes more advanced stages of RV. Broad-scale brand awareness building and a new no-cost entry program for our medical partners will be critical components of my strategy to bring patients, the medical community and the Ultroid-Solution™ together.”

11/24/2006 - “Getting to the Bottom” of Problem Helps Tampa Doctor Expand Practice
“Getting to the Bottom” of Problem Helps Tampa Doctor Expand Practice
TAMPA, FL (November 24, 2006) – It’s not the kind of problem most people want to discuss
with their friends, much less their doctor, but Dr. Linh Nguyen says it has become one of the
keys to his successful practice in Florida.
Hemorrhoids are described as varicose veins of the colorectal area. The itching and pain are
often endured versus being confronted with medical help. Then, when help is sought, the
problem often requires surgery. “And that,” according to Nguyen, “is where this alternative has
been bringing people to me. I am finding a need.”
The “alternative” Nguyen speaks of is a painless, non-surgical procedure that employs extremely
low voltage direct current to the effected area. The process, promoted by Ultroid® Technologies,
Inc. (St. Petersburg, Florida), has worldwide distribution with growing markets in the U.S., China
and Europe.
According to Ultroid® CEO, Michael Cao, “Several points make the system attractive to both
doctors and patients.” Doctors can perform the FDA recognized procedure, Cao notes, “without
anesthesia and in their offices.” Cao goes on to add, “Patients learn Ultroid® is painless, requires
no down-time and is covered by most insurers, including Medicare.”
Nguyen says that since employing Ultroid® as an alternative to painful surgery, he has seen a
growth in referrals. “Referred business,” says Nguyen, “is definitive proof that the method is a
success.” With the number of out-patient procedures performed in his office increasing, Nguyen
feels certain he has found a hidden need and applied an increasingly popular service.

11/30/2006 - "Painless Hemorrhoid Treatment" Tops Google, Yahoo and MSN Searches
“Painless Hemorrhoid Treatment” Tops Google, Yahoo and MSN Searches
SAINT PETERSBURG, FL (November 30, 2006) - The phrase “painless hemorrhoid treatment” has been very good to Ultroid® Technologies, Inc., a Florida-based corporation specializing in the
production of a unique, FDA approved hemorrhoid therapy product.
Being at the top of any search engine is the goal of most companies. The top is where most websurfers
start when looking for a particular topic and that can be directly translated into profits.
With more than 100 million web sites indexed, finding what you want is best left to the Big
Three–Google, Yahoo and MSN. Those three search engines reportedly account for as much as
80 percent of the topic queries. So when Ultroid® announced this week that they were topping
those three major search engines, it was clearly a cause for celebration for the company.
“Painless hemorrhoid treatment is how we describe the Ultroid® process,” said Ultroid® CEO,
Michael Cao. “We have stressed that point in our advertising and with the doctors that use the
product worldwide,” he said. Cao also noted, “It has taken a lot of hard work from a lot of
dedicated people and it doesn’t end here.”
The Ultroid® Treatment System is a virtually painless, micro-current tool. Characterized in their
literature as a “breakthrough device,” Ultroid® is the only company to market the patented product.
Recognized by Medicare and most insurers the treatment is quick and simple. It is performed
without anesthesia and, usually, in the doctor’s office. Ultroid® claims a world-wide client base.
Being at the top is a fickle position. With so many companies trying to accomplish the same
thing, it is common to find the search position change on a daily basis which only makes attaining
number one on three of the engines so unusual. Some of the help Cao referred to is from Manage
One Solutions a search engine optimization company. Cao says, “Their job is to find ways to put
their clients at the very top and, at least with “painless hemorrhoid treatment,” they hit the spot.”

12/11/2006 - Major Health Industry Rep Grabs "Painless Hemorrhoid Treatment"
Major Health Industry Rep Grabs "Painless Hemorrhoid Treatment"
DENVER, CO (December 11, 2006) - Health Industry Representatives Association (HIRA) of
Denver today announced the addition of St. Petersburg, Florida-based Ultroid® Technologies, Inc. to its growing group of member manufacturers.
HIRA is a cooperative alliance of sales professionals, customers and manufacturers in the health
care marketplace whose affiliations economically benefit its members. Ultroid® is a manufacturer
of a unique device in a very promising market, according to Ultroid® CEO Michael Cao. He then
added, "The rapid growth of Ultroid® as a force in the vascular repair industry makes our product
extremely interesting to clinics, hospitals and private practitioners."
Ultroid® Technologies manufactures a "painless hemorrhoid treatment" device. The Ultroid® System offers hemorrhoid patients a quick, non-surgical and painless method of hemorrhoid
treatment. The procedure is recognized by the FDA, Medicare and most insurers. Doctors find
the system a welcome, easy-to-use addition to their practices by being able to perform the
hemorrhoid procedure in their office without the need of anesthesia. Relieved patients are
capable of walking away and returning to their normal routines, immediately after treatment.
Cao said the inclusion of HIRA is a major contribution to Ultroid®'s recently announced plans to
expand its sales markets. "With HIRA's market knowledge," Cao explained, "the Ultroid® System
will become increasingly widespread." "There is little doubt," Cao said, "that this is a strongly
beneficial move for both parties."

12/8/2006 Former Mayor Joins Ultroid®’s “Blue Chip” Board of Advisors
Former Mayor Joins Ultroid®’s “Blue Chip” Board of Advisors
Saint Petersburg, FL (December 8, 2006) – Ultroid® Technologies, Inc., a vascular management
company based in this city, specializing in painless hemorrhoid treatment, has announced the
addition of former St. Petersburg mayor, Robert L. Ulrich to its board of advisors.
Advising management teams is nothing new for the former, two-time mayor. Among his credits,
former and current, Ulrich counts at least three chairmanships, CEO to two area financial
institutions, director of another, a vice-president for the area Chamber of Commerce and a trustee
to Florida Southern College and the Salvador Dali Museum. As a practicing attorney, Ulrich
continues an active business life.
Ultroid® CEO Michael Cao says, “Mr. Ulrich’s business experiences make him a good fit for this
blue chip advisory board. Along with other well-known members of the national business
community, Mr. Ulrich lends his expertise and reputation to an already substantial collection of
experts.”
Ultroid® Technologies (www.ultroid.com) recently burst into the medical arena with its
painless hemorrhoid treatment. Within a year, it began topping many of the web’s search engines
as curiosity about the non-surgical process and the company grew. Ultroid® claims ownership and

of corporate advisors. “Mr. Smith’s abilities are accepted fact,” notes Cao. “His presence
beneath our corporate umbrella brings added credibility to the Ultroid® name,” Cao added.

12/19/2006 - Cases are on the Rise Claims Texas Doc Using Painless Hemorrhoid Treatment
Cases are on the Rise Claims Texas Doc Using Painless Hemorrhoid Treatment
HOUSTON, TX (December 19, 2006 ) –- Some call it too much of the good life. Nationally, an increase in
hemorrhoid cases is being reported according to medical giant Johnson and Johnson (NYSE: JNJ News). Some
estimates claim as many as one million additional complaints requiring medical care are added each year. Doctor Dac
Vu says an increase in hemorrhoid complaints in Houston has boosted traffic to his Center for Integrated Medicine.
The doctor says he cannot attribute the growing number of clinic patients looking for hemorrhoid relief to any one
cause but feels recent efforts at the clinic to educate patients about the often embarrassing condition may be partly
responsible. “That,” says the doctor, “and the fact that we offer a non-surgical solution.”
According to Vu, most people are familiar with the term “hemorrhoid” as a painful and embarrassing medical
condition. “But we all have hemorrhoid tissue,” Vu says. Hemorrhoids are an essential part of our anatomy, according
to the doctor.
“What most people don’t understand,” says Vu, “is that hemorrhoids are cushions, a part of the normal anatomy and
physiology within the anal canal.” They perform important functions in maintaining continence as an individual
coughs, strains or sneezes. “The cushions fill with blood constricting the area to prevent unwanted leakage,” Vu
explains. In short, hemorrhoids are a wanted, needed, even essential part of our anatomy.
Swollen hemorrhoid tissue often itches, is uncomfortable and may even be painful. That is the hemorrhoid we look to
our doctors for help against. “For the physician,” Vu says, “it is wise to inform the patient about the value and
purpose of hemorrhoid tissue as a normal part of the anatomy.” Even more important, it is valuable to know that
surgical removal may result in varying degrees of incontinence that becomes worse with age.
Vu is treating patients with a non-invasive system called “Ultroid®.” The Ultroid® system (http://www.ultroid.com),
says Vu, “has the patient treated in the office in a short time and back to their regular schedule the same
day”—without surgery. This is a notable advantage over surgery, where there can be considerable pain after cutting as
the anus tightens and relaxes. Healing may take as long as two weeks. Vu says, “Ultroid® has taken away much of the
ordeal and all of the pain associated with hemorrhoid therapy--enough that patients inquire about the procedure far
more frequently than previously.

1/10/2007 - Google, Yahoo, MSN Leader Registers "Painless Hemorrhoid Treatment"
Google, Yahoo, MSN Leader Registers “Painless Hemorrhoid Treatment”
Ultroid Service Mark Tops Searches on Big Three
SAINT PETERSBURG, FL (January 10, 2007) – Now, when you hear the phrase “the painless hemorrhoid
treatment” you’ll be thinking of Ultroid®—at least that’s the idea. Ultroid® Technologies, Inc. (http://www.ultroid.com)
has registered the words as a service mark for their hemorrhoid treatment product. The Florida-based corporation’s
Ultroid® Hemorrhoid Treatment System, as approved by the FDA, has been making strong moves in the market toward
national recognition in conjunction with their already growing international presence.
“Topping Google, Yahoo and MSN for several months with that phrase seemed a natural for our marketing,” said
Ultroid® CEO, Michael Cao. Name recognition through marketing is the key to any business according to Cao.
Ultroid has been taking his words to heart and the effort has proved valuable with distributors now supplying markets
throughout the U.S. with a sizeable effort in Asia, as well.
Rubber bands that painfully wring the life out of the hemorrhoid; staples that do much the same; and lasers that burn
the area are all uncomfortable, trendy solutions. But now, as patients experience serious complications, including
sepsis and death from some types of alternative procedures, they are left with the prospect of painful surgery and
long, expensive recuperative periods as their only choice. Enter: Ultroid®.
The Ultroid® system has long been promoted as a painless, non-surgical remedy. Using a low amperage direct current,
so low the patient seldom feels anything more than a slight tingling sensation, the doctor can apply the Ultroid® technique in the office with the procedure taking only a few minutes. Malpractice insurers look at the non-surgical
procedure as safe enough that no additional malpractice premiums are charged to doctors using Ultroid®. “It allows the
patient a non-surgical, painless resolve to what could otherwise be a prolonged and uncomfortable healing period,” according to Cao. “It affords the doctor,” Cao adds, “confidence in the product without the added liability.” Cao also
notes there is no prolonged healing period as patients leave the doctor’s office within minutes to resume their normal
daily routines.
So, what’s the catch? “There is none,” Cao says. “This is a completely safe, painless, cost-effective means to
conquer a very personal problem most of us share.” Approximately 80 percent of us will suffer from hemorrhoids in
our lifetime, Cao notes. Dealt with early, the problem is easily solved. But most of us avoid the problem because of
the embarrassment. The result is that the condition only worsens. Cao adds, “Ultroid® makes the solution so much
easier. It becomes a problem shared with your family doctor.” Hospitals, surgeons, anesthetists and any number of
assisting hospital employees are avoided. “Ultroid® solves the problem, simply,” Cao claims.
The logic is inescapable. Litigation threats are ringing in industry ears causing marketers to reconsider their liability
risk. Meanwhile, Ultroid® is comfortably riding the wave of the demand for a “painless hemorrhoid treatment.”

1/19/2007 - World's Largest Market Opens to "Painless Hemorrhoid Treatment"
World’s Largest Market Opens to “Painless Hemorrhoid Treatment”
SHANGHAI, CHINA (January 19, 2007) – Ultroid® Technologies, Inc. of Saint Petersburg,
Florida (www.ultroid.com), makers of the Ultroid® Hemorrhoid System has just acquired
importation rights of its “painless hemorrhoid treatment” in the People’s Republic of China.
CEO Michael Cao claims the accomplishment is the biggest news, thus far, for this fast-growing
company. “We have sought and found markets throughout the U.S., Canada, Central and South
America and even Europe. Asia was always included as a reasonable goal. China, however, is a
vastly larger market than any we have previously encountered and we welcome its addition.”
With nearly one-and-a-half billion people, or about one-third of the world’s population, China is
the largest single market. “The distribution of Ultroid® into the Asian market will see major
expansion in our yearly output,” Cao said. “More important,” he notes, “is the certainty that
Ultroid® will become a brand whose name equals the process--as in Kleenex equating to tissue or
Johnson & Johnson’s BAND-AID equating to a bandage.” Cao says he fully expects that“painless hemorrhoid treatment” will become synonymous with Ultroid. With that thought in
mind, Ultroid® recently made “the painless hemorrhoid treatment” their service mark.
Cao alluded to a future announcement of further expansion into other world markets. “We have
been energetically pursuing distributional avenues throughout the world,” Cao said. “China is a
rare plum,” he added.

Asian Markets Welcome Painless Hemorrhoid Treatment

population.”
Ultroid® has been making advances with their non-surgical hemorrhoid procedure in many world
markets. The recent addition of Asian Medical as their latest regional distributor places the
Ultroid name into one of the world’s most dynamic economies. Cao attributes Ultroid®’s recent
growth to its aggressive marketing strategy, and corporate managerial additions.
Ultroid® President Gerald Spurgin hinted that the corporation’s next move may be in the retail
arena. “Ultroid® is not only the name of our hemorrhoid treatment product,” Spurgin noted. “It
will grow to represent,” he said, “the most successful group of treatments and remedies for
hemorrhoids.” Spurgin, who recently joined Ultroid® said, “We intend to make the name part of
everyone’s vocabulary.”

Money Man Joins Growing Medical Manufacturer
Ultroid Adds Michael Knox to Executive Collection
TAMPA, FL (February 5, 2007) – “When things are good, they only get better,” according to Michael Cao, CEO of
Tampa Bay’s Ultroid® Technologies, Inc. at the announcement of the addition of Tampa CPA Michael Knox as the
growing corporation’s new CFO.
Ultroid® Technologies’ rocket-like emergence in the painless hemorrhoid treatment field is largely due, according to
Cao, to the acquisition of strong business personalities. Mr. Knox’s client list is a Who’s Who of major business
including several Fortune 500 companies. “His service to them is strong and unquestioned,” Cao said. “His
reputation and participation are an endorsement of our development plans,” Cao noted.
Knox sees his duties as CFO as opportune for Ultroid®. “Growth continues to be an asset for Ultroid®,” Knox said. “Expansion opportunities are also presenting themselves,” Knox claimed. “I have come aboard in time to turn those
opportunities into reality by directing the next phase of development,” he added.
Knox joins Ultroid® Technologies, Inc. as the corporation announces distribution expansion in more than 26 Asian
countries including China, Japan, Korea and Singapore and now serves more than half the world’s population. The
Ultroid® painless hemorrhoid treatment is a non-invasive alternative to hemorrhoid surgery.
Mr. Knox, a Florida certified public accountant and certified valuation analyst, has worked in public and private
accounting for more than 15 years. He is a member in good standing with the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuation
Analysts and the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council.

2/13/2007 - Asian Markets Expanding for Painless Hemorrhoid Treatment
Asian Markets Expanding for Painless Hemorrhoid Treatment
Ultroid® Gets FDA Export Papers
SAINT PETERSBURG, FL (February 13, 2007) – Moving ahead with their plans for distributor
expansion, Florida-based Ultroid® Technologies, Inc. has announced the acquisition of
Certificates to Foreign Governments from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to coincide
with a promotional swing through selected Asian sites by the company’s CEO.
“This is simply another step in expanding our sales base,” according to Ultroid® Technologies
President, Michael Cao. Speaking from Hong Kong, Cao explained, “The certificates guarantee
nothing when exporting,” he said. “However, they can make the product move more quickly
through busy ports like Hong Kong and Singapore by assuring those governments of the
product’s authenticity.”
According to Ultroid® President Gerald Spurgin, the company manufactures a painless alternative
to invasive surgery. Described as a non-invasive, microelectronic device, “the machinery,” according to Spurgin, “is small enough to fit in a briefcase-sized carrier,” increasing its appeal to
physicians as a mobile tool. Spurgin claims intense interest in the product has necessitated the
Asian promotional swing.
The certificates list the products for export to more than 26 nations, mostly along the Pacific Rim
and are verified by the US Food and Drug Administration as items marketed and legally
exported from the US. Cao’s current Asian tour includes Vietnam, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Ultroid®’s list of distributors has recently expanded to include distributors in most Asian
countries.
